During our lesson today it was a practical session on how to achieve a good stock photo using DSLR’s. We worked in groups of two and took photos and tried to find a good source of lighting, a fuss free background. Two things to criticize about the stock photos we ended up with is that they were too close up and would be better a little further away and also to be more creative in the photograph, so changes of position and use of props; and that you can tell I only had 2 hours sleep!! Next time we are able to use DSLR’s to take stock photos we will be in a studio where the lighting can be controlled and manipulated. Please find below the two best pictures we took.
