After messing around with various tree tops, branches and vines, I have settled with this, the trees were originally a vector image with a pattern placed over the top is various opacity and sizes, I believe this has given me a realistic image. Photoshop Progress
This is how my assignment is looking so far, I feel there’s something missing in the image, something in the lower half, I am going to try to add more out spinning branches and see if that works, might need some vines aswell.
Retouching in Photoshop
During our lesson we were taught how to touch up a photograph to make it appear clean, fresh and professional. We followed the tutorial on http://www.surrealpsd.com/basic-photoshop-retouch-tutorial/. Below is the original(left) and my retouched picture(right).
Background Removal
During Lens Based Media we learnt how to remove a background from an image, I have never done this before and found it quite interesting. I find using photoshop still a bit tricky, as I’ve used mainly illustrator before. however, once we had been shown the tools on how to remove the background I believe I have done a relatively good job. See below for original picture and the picture with the background removed.
Lens Based Media – Colour Theory & Composition
During our lesson on Monday 3rd October we learnt about colour theory. The basic fundamental of colour theory is that there are Primary colours, Secondary and Tertiary Colours.
